Same-day highlightsFor event-coverage agencies

The show's still on.
The reel's already up.

Your camera ops drop their cards. ShowReel throws out the soft, shaky and dark shots, cuts the rest to the beat in your client's house style, and delivers 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 while the stand is still busy. Every half hour, if you want it to.

LIVE

Simulation: eight camera clips land and are scored, three are skipped for shake, duplication and low light, and the rest are cut on the beat at 117 BPM into a Day 1 highlights reel delivered in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 with the client's end card.

Simulated control room · footage drawn for illustration · pacing matches a real Day 1 reel

We pulled apart a real agency's GITEX Day 1 highlights reel, frame by frame. ShowReel cuts at the same pace.

How it works

Set the client up once. Then just keep the cards coming.

Four steps, and three of them happen once. On show day your team does one thing: copy footage in.

    STEP 01

    Add the client

Once per client: logo, colours, font and the end-card line. Every reel you cut for them after that comes out on-brand.

    • C0002.MP4612 MB
    • C0003.MOV1.12 GB
    • C0004.MP4948 MB
    STEP 02

    Drop the cards

Whole camera cards straight off the floor. MP4 or MOV, up to 2 GB a clip. Each one is scored and kept or skipped as it lands.

  2. day1_licensed.wav117 BPM
    STEP 03

    Add the track

Bring a track you've licensed. ShowReel finds the beats, so every cut lands on one.

  3. Live · every 30 min
    STEP 04

Cut, or let Live mode cut

One click for a 15, 30 or 60 s reel in all three formats. Or switch on Live mode and it re-cuts on its own while footage keeps coming in.

The editor's eye

It watches every clip so your editor doesn't have to.

A camera card from a show day is mostly walking shots, soft focus and the same stand from six angles. ShowReel scores every clip and tells you, in plain words, why it used it or skipped it.

What it measures

  • Focus

Is it sharp? Soft shots and missed pulls never reach the timeline.

  • Exposure

Is it too dark under the hall lights, or blown out by the LED wall?

  • Motion

Is something happening? A crowd moving beats an empty aisle every time.

  • Shake

Was the camera steady? Handheld wobble and whip-pans get binned.

  • Duplicates

Two ops shot the same handshake? It keeps the better take, once.

Scores run 0 to 100 and the reason is always on the card, so your editor can see at a glance what was left out, and why.

Live mode

One camera op.
No editor.
Reels all day.

Today someone sits in a corner of the hall with a laptop, cutting while the show goes on around them. Live mode is that person, minus the laptop.

Your op keeps shooting and dropping cards. ShowReel keeps cutting. The client sees the doors-open reel before the VIP arrives, and the VIP reel before the keynote starts.

Automatic cut · number = new clips since the last one Nothing new landed, so no cut

  • On your interval

Every 15, 30 or 60 minutes, ShowReel cuts a fresh reel from everything shot so far, in story order.

  • Only when there's something new

If no footage has landed since the last cut, it waits. No duplicate reels in your client's inbox.

  • Three formats, every time

Each cut lands as 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9, ready for Stories, the feed and the stand's own screens.

Day 1 Highlights

Try it: this is what your client sees

For agencies

Four clients on one show floor. Four looks, never mixed up.

At a big show you're covering several stands at once. Each client keeps their own logo, colours, font and end-card line in one workspace, so every reel goes out in the right house style, whichever camera op shot it.

  • Set a client up once, reuse the kit at every show they exhibit at.
  • Events sit under the client: GITEX, ADIPEC, Arab Health, each with its own footage and reels.
  • The end card is rendered from the kit, so the logo is never the wrong file.

Put a month of Agency next to what you pay an editor for a single day on the floor. ShowReel cuts every day of every show that month, and your editor gets to spend their day on the work that needs them.

FAQ

Questions agencies ask on the first call.

What footage can we drop in?

MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV, up to 2 GB per clip. Copy whole camera cards in: ShowReel reads every clip, scores it and decides what's usable, so nobody has to pre-select on the floor.

How long does a reel take to render?

A few minutes. Three 30-second reels, one each in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9, typically come back within a few minutes of hitting Cut, even on a small server. Longer reels and busier queues take a little longer.

Where does the music come from?

From you. Upload a track you've licensed for the client and ShowReel detects its beats and cuts to them. It never adds music you don't own, so nothing you post gets flagged.

Does it replace our editor?

It does the first cut, all day, so your editor doesn't have to sit in a corner of the hall doing it. Editors approve what's good, tweak what isn't, and spend their time on the hero edit the client is really paying for.

Who can see our clients' footage?

Only your workspace. Footage and reels are private to your team. Review links show the finished reel and nothing else, and you can turn a review link off at any time.

How does Live mode decide when to cut?

You pick an interval: 15, 30 or 60 minutes. When the interval has passed and new footage has arrived since the last cut, ShowReel cuts again from everything shot so far. If nothing new has landed, it waits.
